5. Catch
Your Dog Doing Something Right, Krista Cantrell:(beginners
to advanced) Cantrell walks the reader through planned 10 second
& 5 minute training sessions using non-force techniques. She
illustrates different influences on a dog’s learning abilities.
The layout of this book is excellent for beginners because text
is broken up into small sections. There are good photos and are
boxes containing help tips and key points. She introduces a training
device call a playSTICK (acts as an arm extension & used much
like a music conductors baton). Addresses specific behavior problems.
