I'm not sure why no one at the shelter got back to you other than to point out that the email is monitored by multiple people so it's possible each one thought the other was responding. I have forwarded both your Guestbook messages to key people at Almost Home and you should hear back from one of them shortly. Since my main role is in maintaining the website and posting animals, I can't answer your questions. We really would like you rescuers to know how much we appreciate your work in getting him to us way up here in Massachusetts. He loves/snuggles our 3 very elderly cats and adores all children. If anyone remembers his background information from records in May, 2010, we'd like to hear from them. He is truly a dream dog, who didn't last but 3 days before we adopted our Treasure! I did email & call your shelter within the month we adopted him, but never heard back. I wish I had known about this website back then. Message From: Mary Mahoney March 20, 2013 You folks sent our beloved black lab/beagle mix puppy up to Salem Massachusetts, just before Mothers Day, 2010. He was 5 months old and the apple of the eyes of the great people at Northeast Animal Shelter. His name was Trevor when we quickly snapped him up to be our forever dog. If someone in your area had to give him up, please let them know he is king of our home here in Boston. Thank you for sending dogs north to find homes. My granddaughter named him TREASURE, and she is so right about that. Keep up the wonderful work! Message From: Leslie Andrus December 30, 2012 Yesterday was our first visit to Almost Home. All the dogs and cats seemed very happy and well taken care of. Every cat seemed to have their bed or hammock and looked relaxed! The staff seemed to really love everyone. We found "Demi" -- a wonderful Walker Hound, and the new apple of our eye!
