Leo (aka Hal) is a DSH tabby, neutered male, DOB ~ May 2013

Leo has returned to his roots.

Adopted from Almost Home as a kitten in 2013,  Leo lived with his owner first in a household with other cats and then with the wife for the past couple of years as an only cat at an assisted living facility. Now that his mistress is gone, Leo needs a new situation.

Leo is a quiet omega cat who was constantly getting picked on by the other cats in the household.  He does not seek out trouble and would probably do fine with other mellow cats, but he doesn’t defend himself well against bully cats.

Leo is only seven years old but was allowed to gain far too much weight in the past two years. He needs a diet plan and more exercise. Leo loves to be brushed and needs it regularly since his current obesity makes it hard for him to keep himself groomed. He loves people and seeks out your attention. He can be a good conversationalist, too, not noisy just a single-syllable meow now and then to let you know he is listening.

The look in Leo’s eyes shows the heartbreak he is currently feeling and the worry that he no longer has a home. By adopting Leo, you can mend his broken heart and replace that worried look with one of peace and happiness.

NOTE: All animals are spayed/neutered as soon as practical after arriving at our facility unless there is a medical issue that may cause a delay or they are too young to be spayed/neutered.
