Interested in adopting?
DELICIOUS VANILLA, FUDGE & CARAMEL MARKINGS!!!
UPDATE: FEBRUARY 26, 2021
Candy spent several weeks in an adoptive home but has been returned to Almost Home. What we have learned about Candy is that, upon adoption, she needs to start out in a room without excessive clutter or too many small crevices to hide in. It should be a place where the adopter can spend one-on-one time near Candy while letting Candy decide how much contact she is comfortable with. Candy enjoys being read books out loud. She is interested in strings and wand toys that are moving about the room. One of her favorite toys is a catnip-stuffed mouse. She will carry it around the room and “talk” to let you know how proud she is of her special toy. Candy might even ask to share a snack that you are eating.
Candy is just right for a patient cat-savvy adult who wants to make a difference in a shy cat’s life.

Candy .. How can you resist a look like that? A soft, welcoming face and delicious vanilla, fudge, and caramel markings.
Candy came to us from Animal Control as a 6-month-old feral kitten in 2011. Loving foster care and kind, patient treatment at Almost Home have worked wonders. We believe a loving parent and a stable environment will allow her to be the friendly companion she wants to be.
Candy enjoyed several months in a home where she loved to snuggle on her foster mom’s bed and explore the house. Much as her foster mom loved her, she could not keep her because the long-time resident cat objected to the new feline competition. Here are the top ten things Candy wants you to know:
